Neither candidate in Wards 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, or 21 responded to the survey.

1. Not clear on subject.

2. I am for abortion in certain circumstances.

3. Uncertain. Need more information.

4. I am not familiar enough with partnership laws to make a judgment.

5. Although I believe the abortion issue does not belong in the political arena, the bottom line is that abortion is the murder of a living human being and that the child has rights, too!

6. I am in favor of the Right to Life, yet am in favor of the woman's right to Liberty, as well. I am a Roman Catholic and obey the law of the land, as a member of Cleveland City Council I would work within the law of land, city & state. 7. I have no position on this issue. I am interested in hearing Stonewall's position on this subject.

8. I believe in fair housing for all. If you are capable for the job it should be yours.

9. I feel it's a personal choice.

3. Best course for teens is abstinence.

4. I am for proper unbiased training.

5. The way a person performs the job is what should count, not their way of identifying with others.

6. Need more info. Could this hurt students in the eyes of other students.

7. We must educate but I support abstinence.

8. Once sexually active, protection must be used but I would still encourage children to abstain.
